They say that “the business case for a third runway simply does not stack up.” And add “to say that all those from the business community support the third runway is wrong.”
John Stewart, Chair of the campaign group HACAN, commented: “When will the Government realise the game is up? From business leaders to the direct action campaigners from Plane Stupid, the message is the same: a third runway is neither wanted nor needed.”
