The Campaign
We campaign for:
- a third runway to remain off the agenda;
- the retention of runway alternation;
- a curb on night flights, with a ban on flights between 11pm and 6am;
- fewer flights over the skies of London.

But we do not want to move Heathrow's problems elsewhere. That is why we have joined AirportWatch, the umbrella body that includes the protest groups around all the UK airports, as well as leading environmental organiations. AirportWatch takes the view that, if aviation paid its fair share of tax, there would be no need for significant expansion. AirportWatch unites all campaign groups across the UK.
HACAN has also developed links with campaign groups across Europe. We are members of UECNA, the umbrella body for protest groups around Europe's airports.
